Participants who successfully complete an AI PAREA program earn experience credit toward the appraisal licensure or certification experience requirement, as defined by the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB). Experience credit varies based on the program and credential.
If you complete the Licensed Residential (LR) AI PAREA program, you will earn:
- Up to 100% of the required experience hours toward the Licensed Residential classification.
- Up to 67% of the required experience hours toward the Certified Residential classification.
- Up to 33% of the required experience hours toward the Certified General classification (does not apply to the required non-residential experience hours).
If you complete the Certified Residential (CR) AI PAREA program, you will earn:
- Up to 100% of the required experience hours toward the Certified Residential classification.
- Up to 50% of the required experience hours toward the Certified General classification (does not apply to the required non-residential experience hours).
Currently, there is not an available PAREA option for non-residential experience required to fully satisfy the Certified General experience requirement.
